Project Overview
After the sunsetting of Artifact, I was a bit lost in finding a new news app that caters to what I'm looking for. Showing specific topics like technology, design, art, sustainability, etc. As well as recent news from specific sites that I want to keep up with. I tried a few other news apps and noticed they only provide an algorithmic feed with minimal customization. When looking at some RSS reader apps, I noticed that they were primarily on two ends of a spectrum. Either they leaned more towards the usual news apps by providing a pre-built algorithmic feed with the ability to manually add feeds, or they were a completely empty reader that had no built-in feeds.

Update
I started off by going through some homepage design ideas. Trying to create a homepage that provides some resemblance to real-life counterparts (like newspapers). All while showcasing new feed items in chronological order. Still deciding if I want to have the homepage scroll vertically, or go for a horizontal scroll through the feeds.
